And ladies -- embrace your grey hair. I personally have vowed to never dye my hair. I have earned every freakin' one of them, and I am going to wear them with pride!

But...YMMV. ;)
Hey, I helped you with a few of those grey hairs!!!(probably about half of them are from me...)

After the imbroglio with my ex-fiance, I started to get some WHITE hairs. Not grey, but white hairs. And they are extra-curly, like Jenn said. But I have honey-colored hair (naturally), and they blend in pretty well. Add some highlights, and people never even know I have a few white hairs. :P

No need to freak out. The forties are great.

I have never freaked out about age. Maybe I will at some point.

As far as the hair dyeing goes, I always thought I would be one of those people who would never dye their hair. I started going grey in my 20s. In my 30s, people used to ask me if I had highlighted it. In my 40s, people told me it looked great and that I was crazy to color it, and I listened.

But recently, I have started coloring my hair and I am loving it. I just got to the point where I felt that the grey hair was making me look older. I have always looked younger than my actual age, and dang-it, the grey was making me look my age. :P

So my advice is: Do what makes you feel good. :)

I can still say that I'm young :D Not as young as last year, but way younger than I'll be next year :D. I'm 19 now... But not for long.

I am going to turn 38 this year. Like Vain, I am pretty sure I first posted my age when I was 34, then 36 and now 38.

I felt old when I was 34, which is pretty funny, because I don't feel old now.

I'm still trying to figure out when it is that you turn into a 'serious, mature adult' that knows everything your parents seemed to know. :P

Since I joined the Watch when I was 40, I didn't start in the earlier group. I've still got a little over 4 years before I can be accused of false advertising. :)
