How do you feel today?

The week has vast improved...sorta have the car situation worked out. Got to do a rotation in the OB yesterday and helped out with the delivery of a baby (mostly just ran back and forth for washcloths and took vitals)...so cool, the mom was in labor for about 10 hours total...i have a new appreciation for the female pain tolerance, holy hell.
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.

"Honestly; by the end of the Chronicles Lord Foul isn't going to be the Despiser anymore (we all knew he had to come to an end), however I find it vexing that the only reason is because he feels unworthy of the title and resigns to let Linden take his badge, Illearth Stone, and the keys to Linden's Creche."-Revan

I would, buy I live with my grandfather. He fought twice in Vietnam. No, wait, three times. He really doesn't like hippies.Avatar wrote:Smoke a joint man. That's how I cure my insomnia.Lord Foul wrote:My level of tiredness has reached disaffection.

Speaking of mind-trips, I sent you a revised copy of my 8th short story. Read it and weep.

Oh awesome, thanks for the heads up. I'll check my mail right now. I hope Joy is bugging you about publishing that stuff...
Anyway, smoke it somewhere else, get a lift home, and go to bed.
(Actually, seriously, once was a time when I used to consider myself lucky to get 4 hours a night. My personal best is 96 hours with 0 hours sleep, and things started looking a bit weird. Once I started to spliff regularly, my insomnia went away. Now it only recurs if I don't.)

And me. I'm still convinced of my solipsism, though I'll allow Avatar and SRD an independent existence, once I overwhelm the universe.Menolly wrote:You and SRD...Avatar wrote:Bah, it's all in your heads people. I'm gonna live forever or die trying.

My record: 5 days of sleeplessness, though it didn't bother me much, as anorexia had already made me comfortably numb. And in 1998, in June, I only got one hour of sleep each night. That was fun, though, cause I was addicted to the Internet and watching movies and being a kid.Avatar wrote:Oh awesome, thanks for the heads up. I'll check my mail right now. This current bout of insomnia's been abrupt: slept fine until late February of this year. I blame the stress of my senior thesis and other college stuff. But now most of that stuff is over, and yet the habit of staying awake remains. Bah. At least I have extra reading time.
Ooh. . . kittens! I love kittens! Please post pictures when they arrive, okay?
Speaking of kittens. . . my roommate is giving her cat away tomorrow. The cat Muffin will stay with a friend until Elizabeth returns from China in July 2009. I think I'm going to miss the haughty princess (the cat). I'll miss my roommate too, but she doesn't leave for a few weeks yet.

Cool. I second the request for pics of possible.thefirst wrote:My cat has settled herself in my closet, I think she's in labor, so I'm excited.
(Over the summer I fostered five kittens that were born in my garden shed, and they were such sweet little blobs. Kind of ugly... but very sweet. Still have two.)
