two hundred and fifty buck here.

and THAT's a pet peeve of mine...the law hould be flexable to people like taxi drivers and oh Idon't know...delivery drivers...there's no WAY I'm going to wear one of those Blue Tooth/Earbud things
The law should be expensively and laboriously changed because you don't want to stick a thing in your ear? Pfft.
I was always told never to stick anything smaller than my elbow in my ear... :P

500 bucks here. Like I said, doesn't stop anybody, not even me, although I try and avoid it. I hate driving, and I hate cell phones, so the two do not combine readily for me. And of course, having been nearly run off the road by somebody on their phone, I'm in favour of the law, so I try not to break it unless I really have to. ;)

This one gets me bad, puts me in a real Tower Sniper type of mood. Have you ever pulled up to the Drive Thru window, only to find that you have gotten in line behind a Chevy Suburban Soccer Mom, with the entire team in the back, now do they do the considerate thing and take the team inside to allow them to order? NO!... after twenty five minutes of waiting for a bunch of mean little girls to decide whether or not they want fries, or onion rings, they pull up , and I get my turn at the window only to be told that there will be an additional 5-10 minute wait on fries or onion rings, now my first instinct and hasty nature tells me to just drive away, go to the next burger joint , only now I cant get out of the drive thru line because the Suburban has now pulled up to the pick up window, and super mom has taken it upon herself to personally inspect every bag to insure that the order is correct. Go inside and order! A note to parents everywhere, your kids are no excuse for being inconsiderate to others. Someone more high strung than myself may just lock bumpers with you and push you , and the Lady Lakers out into traffic.

Yeah, I've had this happen a few times, although not so much a team as a stereotypical Mormon family. Unless it is at a time that the drivethru is the only thing open, yes, go inside. Then again, I typically go inside to avoid this crap, because I've worked in the service industry and I know how these things work, and I'm generally a quick order.

With that said, I also have been avoiding fast food a lot more than I have in the past as well, which is probably the best solution to this annoyance.

I hate it when I bite into a sandwich, and all the ingredients squish out the opposite side so all I get is a mouthful of bread, and then the bread to ingredient ratio is thrown off for the rest of the meal.

I do. Pity you weren't able to get tickets. I hate when I'm all excited about a band, and then cannot go for whatever reason. Has happened twice now for Gogol Bordello.

Precisely. I definitely felt that way with the Pogues a couple years ago. Luckily some of those bastards that had bought the tickets that do not care about the band as much as I do were willing to sell them for 4X the original cost, and I was sucker enough to buy them.

Call waiting. I despise that frickin' beep that cuts into my phone conversations.

Housemate disconnecting the wireless router without warning me. I was only browsing the Watch, but I could have been doing something more important and easily damaged, like applying for my student loan for the next academic year. Grrr.

Weasel words. Turns out that I was not, in fact, laid off, or even downsized - which would have been bad enough. No. I was a participant in corporate leadership restructure.

I’d gotten over being angry. I like my new job. I haven’t had a single chemically unbalanced nutcase threaten to kill me in the last six weeks. I could get used to that.

Now I’m annoyed all over again. Need to get over it. It’s over, and I have already devoted a full quota of stress to the matter.

Still, it’s insult to injury. Maybe sneaky euphemisms help the execs sleep at night, but no amount of rewording is gonna change the end result.
