Congrats, Mortice Root! (I went in search of the conga rats and couldn't find 'em, and then got sidetracked and forgot to come back here.
)

Nope, don't need it now -- I stole it from your post and bookmarked it.

The conga rats are simply awesome!
I'm actually reading the Man Who... books now, so maybe Ginny or Brew?
Hm, actually, Brew's not a bad name. I could see a good conversation about that one with my mother in-law.
Her: "So what's your son's name?"
Me: "Brew."
Her: "Um... Drew? That's nice."
Me: "No, Brew. With a "B"."
Her: "Um... Brew? Like..... coffee?"
Me:"Or beer."
Her:"Um... Beer?"
Me:"Yup."
Her:"......"
Oh, that'd be fun.

Wow. Avatar. Just wow. Can't wait to see how your posts change in the tank after parenting a teenage girl.

The wonderful world of bankrupcy. I've been fighting against it for the past 8 years ever since I got laid off and it took a year to find a job. I've been over my head in debt since then, and finally realized that I would never get a job that paid enough for me to handle the amount, and it was time to just give in and finally do it. I wish I would have just not fought against it and did it 8 years ago - It would have been done with, or nearly so by now. It was almost a relief when I went to a financial advisor and they said to just do it so that I could get my life back.
It sucks, and I've always been pretty good with my money, and I never thought I'd be someone who would do this, but I fought the good fight, and now I feel no shame in giving in. I suspect I'm one of the people it was set up for as I will not be one who does it every few years so that they can have the latest stuff. This is my first and only.

Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life

Man, that's pretty intense Av. But I think you'll do a bang up job, you're a good guy.
Just.....er....tread carefully.

Yeah, there's no shame in bankruptcy. It's a tool, with a purpose.Cagliostro wrote:The wonderful world of bankrupcy. Urgh, sorry. Been there, done that. And it *is* survivable. Good for you for making the decision.Cagliostro wrote:The wonderful world of bankrupcy.
