We had hoped that the introduction of some new Honor rewards in the upcoming patch would give players a great opportunity to spend any of their remaining Honor. However, many players would still be surprised by an Honor and token reset as it isn’t something we’ve done in the past. As such, we've decided to not reset Honor or tokens upon the release of Wrath of the Lich King. Players who save their Honor will be able to spend it on level 80 rewards, although those rewards will be significantly more expensive than their level 70 counterparts.

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Two interesting things I learned tonight:
Running into an enemy city automatically flags you even if you don't attack anything. (I think I knew that but forgot.)
Feline Grace almost allows you to survive jumping off Aldor Tower. Almost.

I jumped intentionally to test if the fall damage reduction with Feline Grace would allow me to survive. My level 40 druid has 2093 health, and took about 2200 damage in the fall. I don't how the damage there is calculated - on Scryers you lose a percentage of your total health and not a set amount. If I'd had 2300 health I don't know if I would have survived, or if I would have taken 2500 damage. Probably the latter, but it's worth another try in a few levels.

PTR patch notes:

Now I just need to find a way to justify having a third cat. I currently have a PvE cat and a PvP cat... and I use my PvP cat for PvE most of the time.
[Edit] Raiding cat! This goes with my thought that whatever pet I bring next time we do Shattered Halls is going to be respec'd for major fire resistance.
OMG.Stablemasters can now accommodate two additional pets.

It's percentage based, fall damage has nothing to do with HP, the only things that will mitigate it are the rogue/druid abilities, levetate, slow fall, and parachute cloaks. When you've played too much, you generally have a feel for which falls are fatal, and which are merely near fatal. (And always make sure your HP are full before you try it out! cant tell you how many times ive taken the scryer jump and forgotten that I'm at half healthSorus wrote:I jumped intentionally to test if the fall damage reduction with Feline Grace would allow me to survive. PW shield used to absorb fall damage (which was awesome) but not anymore

I just jump in the lava then swim to the ramp. Much easier than hitting those ledges, and the lava only kills you if you're swimming from way too far out. 3-4 ticks of damage is nothing in the time it takes to turn around and jump out.Anyone else remember the MC/BRD shortcut? You have to hit a ledge, heal, then hit another ledge perfectly Smile Saves a lot of time. (Of course, you can corpse run it without worrying)

Yep, that's what I figured. I guess it doesn't matter if you land on your feet when you've achieved terminal velocity. The Dreaming wrote:

Looking forward to 3.0.

(Fel Reaver was easier to kill than Durn, actually. Hits faster for less, so more mana return; has less HP. Durn generally gets me to low HP, I Lay on Hands, he gets me down again, and I have to use Divine Protection to survive the last little bit of the fight. As you can see in the pic, against the Reaver I ended on quite high HP (after one LoH).)

Yes, on the PTR. I've killed Durn quite a few times, out of boredom. I'm thinking of trying a Fel Reaver Sentry next, but they have much higher HP.
You want to help me kill Maggoc (one of Durn's big brothers) when the patch goes live? I can only get him to 50% solo, with a healer behind me it'd be easy.
(Grulloc is too hard, haven't tried Slaag but I expect the same.)

Sure, I'll help. Maggoc isn't the one who wanders up and down the road in Blade's Edge just north of the Gnome outpost? I always have to remember to keep an eye out for that one, but he seems to have a small aggro radius.
I healed for a group that killed Durn when I was at around lvl 67. I didn't have the quest for him yet. I picked it up, but dropped it to make room - always figured when we were bored a group of us could get him

Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a good carpenter to build one.

Edit: Guys, it looks like Katzia's been hacked, and the hacker's cleared us out. Taken the max withdrawals from the bank, and 150g. Her characters are no longer on the guild roster, but aren't listed as having quit in the log, so they've either been deleted or transferred.
Deva told me this morning that Katz has been banned and doesn't know why, this looks like it.
