Phoogle Map

I just checked my own Phoogle Map and it says I'm in Spain. I most definitely am not. Am I missing something here?

Did you ever go into your profile and tell phoogle where you are? Or turn off your phoogility?

If you are not careful when you change your profile it is extremely easy to get the map all catawampus. It's happened to me several times. :)

Yes, true. If you're fond of using the mouse wheel to scroll down the profile page, this'll inadvertantly change your phooglitudinal position.

I just checked the map and apparently I am not at my desk at work after all. I am somewhere in the in the unpopulated part of the hilll outside of San Ramon. I guess I better go fix that... 8O :biggrin:
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

How the heck can you tell where you are on the phoogle map anyway?

Start zoomed out all the way, zoom in until you get there, paying attention to all the shapes you recognize along the way.

Also, if you click on the button that says "Phoogle Map" at the bottom of each post, it brings up the map with only that user's icon on it. Do it on one of your own posts, and it will focus on you. :)

What we have found is if you go into your profile, and use the scroll on your mouse or mouse pad, it changes the location of your marker. So, if you think of it, whenever you do go into your profile, double check you phoogle location before hitting submit.
