That's very cool Lyr. We began deliberations today. Seems like I am the Pauly Shore of the jury. Ugh.

Well, I'll be heading off home permanently tomorrow, so feeling a bit stressed what with packing and all that...lots to do and a long way to go...I'll be offline for a few days, but should be back by Monday. Gonna be a bit sad...end of an era and all that. Have been coming here for seventeen years. Will miss the place.
But...back to reality was inevitable, I'll get over it.
Be safe guys, back as soon as I can.

now now...don't put a negative swing on all that kinda thing: pack of cigs, lots-a-heavy breathin' and lyin' in a bath of beer...that sounds like BLISS to me!

...or perhaps I'm just strange!
And speaking 'bout being strange: Sea is in a daisy-plucking mood....not that I need to pluck daisies coz I already know the answer!

Oh, and check out what is now on Bakugan boxes (SRD's vocab takes over the world...kinda silly really: what kid (or most adults!) would know what puissant was!!!

Nothing like having a freaking heart attack. I went to the store across the street to get smokes and took Moose off leash of which is he really getting good at. While he and I were waiting at the cross walk this crackie in a wheelchair rolls up and she is coming for Moose and saying what a cute dog he is and I said, "Please, he's afraid of wheelchairs so could you please stay back." And she looked me in the eye and said, "I understand." and yet she kept trying to get closer and pet him and I asked her again to stay back and not spook him and she said, "I know, it's cool." and she f--cking kept coming at him and Moo got spooked and ran out into the street and almost got hit by a f--cking 38 geary bus and while I am trying to get him out of the street she starts screaming about who owns the dog and why isn't he on a f--king leash and this gets all her crackie pals going and yelling at which spooked him more so he wanted to come to me but was afraid of her freakshow friends and wouldn't get all the way to me so I ended up running into the street and grabbing him. Moose and I nearly got killed tonight. I'm pretty shaken up right now.

The world is so strange. I came in to work today and Igor and I were doing catch up for the week and I asked him if anything else exciting had happened this week that I missed and he tells me that someone stole a can of air freshener from the bathroom. The last time I went to the store to get air freshener they had the febreze fresh scents on sale, 3 for $7 so I got three different scents. There was a can of berry scented, a powder fresh one and a lavender and vanilla one. The lavender/vanilla one was my fave and is unfortunately the one missing. Anyway, we have this very ecclectic customer Marie and she came in to pick up her car this morning and Steve runs up to me after she left and says, "That's the lady who stole the air freshener from the bathroom."
People are so odd.

I think that's San Franciscan for "sketchy".
Jenn -- I guess it was her favorite scent, too.
Last night was our firm's holiday party -- we went to a restaurant in Georgetown with a lovely view of the Potomac.
I abstained from the creature and got to bed at a decent hour; awoke at 4:30am with stomach cramps. I knew I couldn't call in sick today because they'd think I was hung over from the party.
So I sucked it up and came in. And now I'm glad I did -- my Weight Watchers weigh-in was amazingly good, and my attorneys gave me a gift card for my birthday.
And if the rent check doesn't bounce, life will be pretty much perfect.

Now, if she'd been described as 'puissant' or 'roynish' I'd know exactly what you meant!

She's one of those older ladies who's mind is going and she has a lot of cats.
She's very nice but she's definitely not "all there" mentally.
