Tabs in posts?
Hey there,
Sorry if something exists on this.
I want to be able to put a tab in my post, but neither the bbcode nor html will allow it to happen. Is there a way to do this? In particular it throws off the formatting of poetry.
Thanks!

Rob, it's not the best but I use to indent things. So it would look like.
I use
HTH!
Code: Select all
[list]insert text here[/list]
I use
- insert text here
HTH!

Like this? (alt+255)x5 The lack of indenting killed me at first, but I've learned to live without it.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Fantastic! Thank you so much everyone. I have a couple of poems in the Hall Of Gifts where formatting is extremely important to me, and this totally helped.Syl wrote: Like this? (alt+255)x5 The lack of indenting killed me at first, but I've learned to live without it.
