Spent my Monday off cleaning house, knitting, and making black bean chili. 8) And I learned via the intarwebz how to make a champagne mimosa, which will be key to my solitary inauguration celebration in the morning. What *did* we do before Google, anyway? Someday, far in the future, the Time Before Google will be known as the *real* Dark Ages....

Don't I know that feeling!

I feel over tired, over worked and neglected. Apart from that...life is good!

*smiling contentedly to myself*

I could not have received better gifts for my birthday...

The role playing game I love moves forward today with today being the deadline to submit moves...

I was gifted with a totally unexpected Watchy nomination yesterday...
(I won't win, but that doesn't matter)

And Xar passed his dissertation defense and is now officially a Ph.D...

...nope...

I honestly can't think of a way for my day to improve. :)

There aren't enough expletives in the entire vocabulary on Earth that can sum up the rage I am feeling today. My husband just lost his job. I have no idea what we're supposed to do now.

I just paid $25,181.86 on my wife's credit cards. I'm not sure how I feel right now. I would imagine beer is gonna happen later today.

Jeez. I didn't see the posts above mine. I'm sorry for your losses. In a way, I was bragging a little, I had a huge year- kicked ass in a recession. But that doesn't change the fact that I'm sick at my stomach and shaking a little. The cards are in my pocket now, BTW.

I have sales jobs available, but you gotta travel. You can send me a message if you want details. Yes, they are straight commission, but my worst guy made 25k in the last six months, and my best one (actually a gal) make 70k in the last six months.
