Rules for posting?

Post by Rocksister »

Do we have any official rules for posting? I've seen some ugly language and comments made on these forums recently, and upon searching for something that says "hey, that's not allowed," I didn't find anything. I read one a few days ago that made me want to get back on my dromond and sail back to the Sunbirth Sea in search of cleaner forums. I find no excuse for that kind of behavior in a public forum intended for the enjoyment of intelligent folks. OK, you can cyber-flog me now. I AM carrying a twelve-foot sword...........
Heard my ears aright? Did not the gaddhi grant me this glaive?

Have you reviewed the Kevin's Watch Rules and Guidelines Vain put up? If there is anything in there that covers your concerns, contact the mod of the particular forum, or an admin.

As Menolly said, there are guidelines and on the whole, we try to stick to them. We also try to be tolerant of occasional lapses too. If you have a problem with something, please bring it to the attention of the relevant mods, that's what they're there for.

Definitely use the link Menolly gave you as a guideline. Basically, though, if someone is saying something that makes you feel uncomfortable, definitely don't be shy about going to one of the mods or to one of the admins or myself. I'm always glad to listen to people.

I would just like to apologize for the Black Covenant Fan thread. It was mostly a typo. The keys are, like, stuck right together.

That's okay. I never read the book with black Covenant in it, so I never read the thread.
