Waiting for them is fine.
I've waited for SRD before... waited (& waited..) for King's Dark Tower....waited (& still waiting) for the late Robert Jordan's (& now Sandersons) Wheel of Time,.... waited, & waiting, for GRRM's Song of Ice and Fire.
Waiting is part of the experience.
... meanwhile re-reading keeps you going.
