Honestly, I was entirely confused until you mentioned the hemisphere thing.

Light of the world, shine on me
Love is the answer
Shine on us all, set us free
Love is the answer

And when you feel afraid, love one another
When you've lost your way, love one another
When you're all alone, love one another
When you're far from home, love one another
When you're down and out, love one another
All your hopes run out, love one another
When you need a friend, love one another
When you're near the end, love one another
We got to love one another

I thought your were being sarcastic for a minute there.

Actually fall is my favorite time of year. I love the smells of fall, I love the colors of fall, I love the crunch of leaves under your feet in the woods and I love the nip in the air.

and..........soon I can go back on the beach with my helldog! :D

Fall's my favorite season, too. 8) But glad you're enjoying spring, StevieG.

We're stuck with Daylight time here for, what? another month, almost? It's getting kind of annoying, as it's *dark* when I get up, boo hiss.

No daylight savings here. :D But then, our light/dark difference isn't as great as many places.

Well into spring nonetheless though. We only really have 3 months of winter or so, but it's a long three months.

We have a skiff of snow on the ground now. Winter comes early to the moutain and leaves late. Summer is gone in a blink, so we try to make the most of it when it's here. :)
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

Same with me.

The thing with spring where I am is that all the accumulated dirt and sand from the melted snow is still around, which creates eyesores all over the place. Not to mention, there is always some snow piled somehwere that persists as late as May. So spring is a rather dirty season.

Nevertheless, I wish you a good spring time, Stevie!

I grew up near Chicago, where spring lasts approximately a minute and a half. I used to have a sweatshirt that said, "Indiana -- spring, summer, fall, winter, winter, winter..." and featured a cartoon of some people up to their armpits in snow.

I never understood what was so neat about spring until I went to college in southern Indiana.

My mom, who lives in Chicago, said that Chicago has two seasons: Winter and Construction.

Well, I do love Autumn (as us heathens down under call it  ) too. But, of course, it precedes winter, the days get shorter etc. Late autumn brings with it a sense of foreboding.

Spring isn't as settled as Autumn, but it precedes summer, and everything is budding and growing. And where I'm from, it means long daylight hours. We don't get snow, so no dirt and melted snow issues

ah...I'm the opposite, Stone.
I like the sun being up as I greet the day,
and enjoy the chance of some decent star gazing at a relatively early hour.

Yeah that's definitely a plus, but for me only a minor, consolation prize!
