Someone should have given me that pearl of wisdom the day I joined.

Sea's not the only one who misses you, luci.

Roland of Gilead is another I miss around here. He's been gone a long while now. Very shrewd, level-headed guy.

Do I need to mention Myste again? Yes, I think I do. Myste, I want to know that you're all right. Seriously. Give us smoke signals. Morse code. Anything.

I'm seriously considering it, luci. The 99-page(!) WoW thread is a little intimidating, though. :faint: Over the weekend, I'll try to read through it so I won't seem like a total n00b if I join.

It's official, Cov Jr has spoken: you must return, Myste!

Sea, you mentioned you've played WoW before. You came out of it a normal person...didn't you?

the thing with wow is, you either love it and get into it, or get bored quick and ditch it. there's not much in between.
part of what i like about it is the social aspect.
we have a vent server and we chat in vent (all except murrin
who plays at weird hours of the night and doesn't want to wake
his parents by chatting on vent)
so we chat while we play, and the vent is manditory for raiding
so we're all communicating with one another during the big boss
fights. but not everyone is on there all the time.
and there's ingame guild chat (its like im while you're playing)

so its a pretty social game. i like that.
there's lots to do all the time. ever evolving quest stuff
and the eternal hunt for your next awesome gear piece.

we have a great couple of guild leaders and murrin and sorus
are officers.

its a lot of fun.

and...you WILL be a noob but hey, we all are in the beginning! and there's lots of guildies to help you level! :D thats what is great about our guild,
it's very cooperative. everyone helps everyone.

so what are you waiting for? :P

Rather than studying our ramblings, check out the descriptions of the classes on the WoW website. The only class you can't start with is a Death Knight. If you decide to try it, there is a 10 day free trial option. Just remember to choose for your realm "The Scryers", and play an Alliance race.

oh yeah! huh! i forgot to tell him the most important stuff huh! hee.

realm: (normal*) The Scryers
*normal as opposed to pvp or rpg

guild name is Legacy. i am Irvea or Dunsparrow.
Sorus is Sorus :D (but she's been working on her druid a lot, Heleina)
Creator has been working on Shini but he is also Stormbreak, Astavyas,
Devaguhya, and a whole host of other toons! (he has lots)
Murrin is Kysen, Damelon is Murimli or Roladys (tho he's been playing
his hordie on another realm lately :P)
just add the names to your friends list when you get on there and
it'll show you whether we're ingame or not. if any of us are there
you can "whisper" us in ingame chat to let us know you're there! :D

The Scryers is an RP realm, Luci, not Normal. Much like every other RP realm, however, you're hard pressed to find any on it.
