I'm excited for this weekend. It's going to be nice outside and I'm planning on taking a long walk. I'm getting my new car on Monday or Tuesday and then visiting home next weekend. I haven't been home to Napa in 2 years. It's ridiculous. Then I get a week off for Thanksgiving, at which time I'll be doing some serious soul searching (and cooking). Life looks good today. Dunno about two hours from now, but right now, things look like they could be okay. lol

Sounds like a really nice week. I have never been to Napa but always heard it is beautiful. What kind of car did you buy?

Have a great week off. Enjoy the holiday/

I got a '99 Nissan Maxima. A family member sold it to me for a mere $800. :)

I read that as a '99 Nissan Miasma. I like that name better.

Me neither. She probably feels better than all of us, ironically...what a spirit.

Yeah. Was in a daze last night, thinking about Furls. Didn't get to bed until 3:00 am. Thought about all the times I chatted with her on MSN. Maybe it's odd that I should feel so deeply for a person I've never met, but such is the effect Furls's presence here at KW has had on me.

I haven't been here very long and haven't been lucky enough to meet Furls, but my heart is full from reading all the love and familial connection on the Watch during this stressful time. I wish I could hug you all.

Reading the journals and listening to the things she and her brother have written has really made me question my own disbelief. I have never been religious or believed in a here after, but how can someone who speaks such beautiful words and see such beauty be wrong?

She continues to teach me to listen with my heart instead of my head.

Hugs to everyone about Furls. I just lit a light blue candle to send her healing and some of my amazing positive energy from my fabulous evening out to birthday dinner and Zombieland with some of my favorite people. Watchers that attended were myself, Lucimay and Bloodguard Bob. FBH peops who were there, at dinner(Julie:host, Karen: Osondrea/assorted ranyhyn, Canaan:guest expert/griffin) Heatherly:host joined Lucimay, Bloodguard Bob, myself and Karen for the movie. My friend Harry was there too but y'all wouldn't know him. :P Still, the energy of the group and the whole experience and the love that swirled around the table and the joy of us just being together to celebrate something was unmistakably powerful.

I'm just asking her to sip cranberry juice, that's all. It will be harmless, I swear!

I'll just have to make sure we never get to that point. If her vision starts bifurcating on me, I'll sound the alarm bells.

Elena. That's one crazy chick I wouldn't mind breaking my heart. Or fighting MM over. :P

It's not hard to meet her. Just think in terms of ideals--Virtue, passion, sweetness...the most balanced and peaceful person I ever met. It's very easy for me to imagine what she'd say and how she'd react, because there was nothing hidden. She just crusaded, went all the way--not many can say they did that. She's had more grief than most--enough to crush most--and she turned every bit to healing, mercy, compassion.

What LF said. An amazing spirit. 8)

The weather here was beautiful today, but I spent the day inside, slaving away over a hot laptop. The good news is that I'm now not only caught up on the NaNo novel wordcount, but I'm a couple of days ahead. Which is good, because I know I'll lose at least one day of writing over Thanksgiving when I take Magickmaker back to college. The bad news is that I've got to come up with another 20,000 words, and most of the juiciest conflicts are over. Ah well, I guess I'll have to make something up....
