I've had the chance to read a little more of what has been going on, and I am really in awe. God is so good! So faithful in times of trouble! And Tracie, you just shine with God's glory. Dear sister, I have no words to say what I'm feeling. Praise God for your faithful, loving heart! I pray that God continues to uphold you, and that His name will always be magnified by your story.

"O God, you are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you,
my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land
where there is no water.
I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.
Because you are my help,
I sing in the shadow of your wings.
My soul clings to you;
your right hand upholds me."

Psalm 63:1-8

I haven't checked in on this thread for a month or so. I just spent the last two hours reading and I'm sitting on the couch stunned, wiping tears from my eyes. Tracie, I'm praying for a miracle for you. I know your surrounded by a wonderful family and, in the end, what more can any of us ask for then to be surrounded by pure love.

Thanks for putting everything in perspective for me and thanks for renewing and strengthening my faith in god.

Love,

Brinn

Hi all, I can't stay long, I just wanted to come on and say how much I love everyone here, and to thank you all for the prayers you have said for me. You all mean the world to me. My dear friends.

In this vision he showed me a little thing, the size of a hazelnut, and it was round as a ball. I looked at it with the eye of my understanding and thought "What may this be?" And it was generally answered thus: "It is all that is made." I marvelled how it might last, for it seemed it might suddenly have sunk into nothing because of its littleness. And I was answered in my understanding: "It lasts and ever shall, because God loves it."
Hang in there, hazelnut. The Hand of God is a floor you can't fall off of, no matter what.

Snow is what I miss the most about home. I've always felt more at peace during snowfall myself. :D

For Myles--
When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love

For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

That's a great one Durris, we love playing it on Sunday. :) It's one of the "lift up your hands and praise Him" songs.

Hey all...

Scans came back, tumor on kidney is no longer there, tumor on lung is no longer there, tumor on liver is still there but has had no growth since her last scans in Houston.

We are going to go down tomorrow and speak with the oncologist about maybe trying to do more treatments.

Uh, all I can say is Praise God, because He is the only One that could have done this...She's coming back to us.
Your love amazes me.

Glory be...
Hallelujah!!

Did I not say in our last chat I had hope she could eventually be weaned off of the morphine drip? I do not know what prompted that, but it was an intense feeling.

You go girl! We'll have this party yet!!!

We all dropped to our knees when the news came in and just praised God. Of course, she has no idea yet about any of this because she is sleeping....
Your love amazes me.
