Just a note for any ladies considering this t-shirt.
The ladies XXL runs very snug, and it is 100% cotton.

And in case others have not seen way's graphic...

The D Man has a lot of potential suitors, it seems like. By the way, that's the first time I've referred to my son as the D Man. But he's already shaping up to be quite a playa.

Regardless, CONGRATTIES LYR!

Congrats Jenn!

I've got to walk to work in an hour in torrential rain and gale force winds, and you know what? I can't wait! It's loads better than the icy snow that's been on the ground for nearly two weeks now :D

Wiped out. Just back from my first climb of the year, and fitness levels have definitely dropped over the holidays. (When I was too lazy to climb at all.)

We were taking pics for a manual a friend of mine is doing...if we get any decent ones, maybe I'll post one.

Gonna go out for a late breakfast I think.

I feel good. I am officially done student teaching, I have a long-term substitute teaching position lined up starting Tuesday in the same school in which I did my student teaching, and I slept in until 11am this morning.

Last week I started my first math class in 8 years, and it's kicking my assatar.

It's Applied Calc II. I'm fine with the Calc part, but... WHY in Montresor's name does the trig have to be so Aliantha'n confusing?!?!?

Cameraman Jenn wrote:I got promoted. It officially starts not this coming week but the monday after. I get more money, what OD calls a raise in employee classification and more leeway about overtime. Turns out that Jacob was not actually being sarcastic about telling me what a great job I am doing and how glad he is they hired me. Who knew? Personally I think it's because I had it out with Derek and Derek actually listened and has totally changed his demeanor towards me without having to involve Jacob and the fact that I can bat my eyes and get credit cards from any one of the guys and get morning coffee without question as well as lunch. I got mad skills. :P Probably doesn't hurt that I am not afraid to speak my mind to Jacob or give him a ration of crap to the point of kicking him out of DPS so that Ryan and I can get caught up. OH and it also might have been that over the past few days on more than one occasion there has been need for manager overrides on registers and I have just picked up Ryan's keys or asked for Jacob's keys and done manager overrides myself. Jacob keeps saying, "I am not supposed to know that you can do that." especially since I know his number and password and Ryan's number and password. But hey, when the customers are backed up and there isn't anyone responding then I gotta do what I can do to fix it. Basically the store is understaffed and woefully undertrained. Sorus has a specialty job that only she really knows how to do in the store so without her the store is screwed and everyone is trainees except Sorus and the two Jason's and management. They need to give Sorus a minion to train and I volunteered but Jacob first oked then shot it down soooo... . My vote is for Gerard and to you, Sorus, I would love to hear what you think of that. Anyway, got two days off and it's laundry with Lucimay on Sunday so get your plane tickets people.

yes i'm bored. yes i need a new job. but i gotta say jenn (besides congrats on the promo) from the sound of all that retail stuffs...i am pretty glad i did NOT get a job at the OD!!

After about 8 beers, I'm feeling "comfortably numb" and now I feel sorrow, due to reading about Furl's Fire death.
Have you hugged your arghule today?

After 8 beers, I think I'd be comfortably dead. :faint:

(Okay, I could get into trouble for that one...see, it's got nothing to do with Furls, but everything to do with my alcohol tolerance level.)
