I'm as poor as a church mouse, so sometimes I imagine winning the Euro Lottery (heaps more cash than the NL). I buy a big house and fill it with all the things rich people can afford, and just as it gets totally ridiculous I drop off.

Failing that I read Cag's posts, that usually does the trick  you know i'm only joking

Q: Did you hear about the dyslectic agnostic with insomnia?

heh, I hesitate to admit this here......I'm afraid I will get banned, but since this is a week of confessions......

although I am fascinated, I have never, ever played an online game, nor a role playing game, nor even a playstation type game. WOW fascinates me, so do some of the games here, but Luci, I am totally clueless. Menolly has tried to help me but I am hopeless. The most complicated game I have ever played is scrabble on line:?

Am I still allowed on the site? 8)

Ambien. It's even more fun to take it a couple hours before you plan on going to sleep. Then again, feeling like you're somewhere else, hearing voices whispering, or sensing people on the periphery of your vision could freak some people out. And if you sleepwalk, forget it.

The generic's cheap, but it's not in CR.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I have never WOWed though.
I dare not.
The text games here are addicting enough for me.
I can't even imagine what would happen if I tried something like WOW...

But of course...

We have Gravin Threndor purists.
But I am sure we have far more Watchers who have never even stuck their head in that forum.

I've stuck my head in GT. It's worth visiting just to see the fantastic avatars everyone has there. There's no need to be afraid to visit.

That said, I've never joined a game there either. I've seen Syl's appeal for new people to join Acropolis, but looking over the rules made my eyes glaze over. Sorry, man.

lorin, if you are contemplating WoW, then I couldn't think of a better group of Watchers to welcome you into the game than Luci, Sorus and Creator.

And if you're looking for some midnight scrabble action, you could give me a buzz. But only on Friday and Saturday nights. I have to wake up earlier for work now, so I can't afford to stay up late weeknights anymore. (Used to play literati at yahoo with Luci and the gang.)

There's your cure for insomnia, Lorin. ;)

Of course, the new additions to the rules are designed to make it easy for people to play. It's really a matter of just telling a story in the given setting and updating/adding to it once a month... or less, if you feel like it. All the stuff after the first few sections are for the purists.

I'm usually pretty sleep deprived these days, so when I do go down, generally I sleep like a baby. Which means waking up screaming and crying at all hours of the night.
