You may wish to PM the poster, or post in the same thread as the post, that you did thank the post. The number of thanks shows up in the count under the poster's avatar, but no notification of which post is thanked is sent. For those who notice they have been thanked for a post, this can be a lesson in frustration, especially if the post is an older one someone only recently came across.

But regardless of if you notify the poster or not, I know for me, seeing the "thanked" number increase under my avatar is always a welcome sight. :)
Thnak you! ;)
Oh... Image

...now if I can only find which post was just thanked! ;)

That's odd. Anybody try the link to see what the post was, or what the error was if there wasn't one?

Dunno. We usually only get those weird dates when we've been hacked, and then all the dates are reset. (Man! I turn my back on this place for *one minute*... ;) )

My orange dot tree seems to be working fine, except for The Summonsing today. I replied to Savor Dam's post this morning, and the post is showing up fine. But it is not listed on the Index as the most recent post.

Could this just be a glitch for the one post? I usually rely pretty heavily on the orange dot tree and would prefer to not miss out on posts by doing so...

Did you get one of those database errors, (the 500 ones I think) when you posted it? That interferes.

*nod*
As it has since done.
Once again, my thanks, Av.

Sheesh. The whole How Do You Feel topic disappeared, right after I tried deleting a duplicate post that I, apparently, accidentally made. I think I'll Topeka this, and see if other sites have had the problem.

I don't know why, but this post makes me feel a little tense.

It's strange... there's this talk of fnords everywhere.... I'm almost certain it's an April Fools thing, but I'm still confused.
