Yes'm, you may. It comes in a .pdf, and once you buy it, you can do anything with it that you usually can do with a .pdf. (At least I assume you can print it. I think Menolly was able to print Xar's book, otherwise she wouldn't have had anything for him to sign...) Or you could wait for the dead-tree version -- your choice.

I bought the hard copy of Xar's novella North Star months after it became available on lulu and had it shipped directly to the hostel I stayed at in Manhattan when Xar, Fist and I met up there, picking it up at check-in. So, I do not know if Calderwood's .pdf can be printed out. I would also assume so, but I have not purchased one to try.
