The part that Wildwood played in Bereks story was that of protaginist, rather than the redemption of Berek.

Berek summoned the Fire Lions by appealing to EP, TC with EP in the SOL.
If we all follow Berek's code of warriors then the world would be full of the worst warriors imaginable.

I don't understand what you mean by Wildwood being a protagonist to Berek. Could you expand on this by showing where in TCTC this happens.
