Mi manchi. Ma vedo che sei occupato.
Spero di rivederti presto altrove.

Rothmog wrote:hi guys! as you can see Uncle Rothmog isn't much present in the game since a while... it is just because Real Life events are taking me away from any kind of game i'm trying to play... :P

so i'm afraid, but i have to leave the game. i hope you all understand. i'm sure you all will have a lot of fun playing pantheon for the few days that remain to Eiran (evil laugh here).

Take care my friends!
Sorry to see you go. Hopefully they are busy but pleasant real-life things. Take care!

This is such a strange feeling...

I have always waited pretty much right up until deadline to even start thinking of potential actions, most of the time struggling to come up with anything even potentially decent. And I have always shook my head at Fist's planning and execution of turns way in to the future.

However, this past turn I pretty much knew what I was going to do as soon as last season's results came out, and had the turn pretty much written up last week. Depending on how results go, especially regarding one teeny portion that I wrote regarding this turn's action, I already have four possible courses of powered actions laid out for the next turn or more...

This never happens to me.

Maybe I can occasionally be a little more sympathetic towards Fist in regards towards his impatience during processing. ;)

NO

WAY

!!!!!!

Seriously, no way. Something happened. Did it go to your junk folder? He txted AND PMed me yesterday, early morning my time, thanking me for the deadline reminder, and verifying that I was sending him power for the TR. I replied with a PM, which he opened. There's no way he didn't know what was going on or when.

I tell you...

Man, oh man...

The fact that this means we can say "The God of Time is late?!?" doesn't make up for missing this turn and wasting my DRPs. I want one DAMNED good story for this!!

Fist may not have burst an artery, but I, good friend of Koel's that I am, apparently left a useless and possibly quite senseless voice mail message for him the other night.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
