I don't mean to sound rude, but maybe we should let it be. If Matrixman wanted to be contacted then he would have contacted someone. Perhaps we should just accept that he is taking a break from KW instead of stalking him online. Of course, he could be very ill or something bad has happened in his life, but again it might be his choice to be out of contact.

I can't speak for everybody else, obviously, but I'm certainly taking that into account. OTOH, he was a fairly regular poster here for years, and a daily poster at the Hangar, and we haven't heard from him at either place for months. He just quit coming without a word to anybody. Just seems kind of out of character for him.

oddly, i sort of agree with both of you.
i want to know that he's okay but i do not want to intrude.
he's prolly gonna go all sybil on my ass when he finds out
i googled him anyway!

i have not googled further and, tho i want to know he's okay,
i'm not going to search further. he's such a private person
that i just feel i need to respect that.

mm, when and if you come back, we love and miss you greatly.

Yeah, there's no intention of trying to make him come back or anything. If he wants to stay away, that's totally up to him.

We just want to know that he's ok.

I am back on a somewhat limited basis (limited meaning I am staying out of the Tank and the Close and any other potentially time-consuming debating threads) to concentrate on what little I can here, meaning engaging in some writing, and talking about AATE once it comes out...

I miss him too and I am worried about him but honestly I'm in the respect his privacy court. He's always been private to some degree, even on the watch. It's a totally different story than if I went missing cuz Lucimay could just barge into my apartment with the spare keys I gave her or call about twenty different people to track me down if I was not found in my apartment, but MM hasn't given that license to anyone and I think he might be more stressed if we go stalking him than if we just leave him alone. I'll start hanging out on the net with my im launched which I have not done in forever to see if he pops on.

Ok... edit.... he hasn't signed on to messenger since March.
