Assuming that this data is correct, it simply justifies my lack of faith in anything stated in the Bible. The Lord shouldn't need a copyeditor or a proofreader for his Book.

Ummm.... seems like a waste of time... as most scholarly pursuits are :lol: At the same time, it's probably those contradictory teachings that gave the Bible the ambiguity necesary to spawn thousands of different beliefs...

I know the big serious ones of course, but I didn't know there were so many smaller ones as well. It's not exactly a surprise...it's a compilation of stories written and collected over hundreds of years in multiple languages.
