I think all the post-strike episodes were simply fantastic.
I agree.

I liked Jenny better in the earlier episodes. She seemed so severe lately. Of course, it could've simply been her longer red hair that I liked better back then.

Never liked her. It would be one thing if she ever seemed competent. Oooh, she can make phone calls to important people. Doesn't equal one La Granoie. And apparently her incompetence goes back decades. At least the deputy director busted out some knowledge with McGee.
Spoiler
Nope. Glad she's dead.

As for the rest... as much as I like Ziva, I think the Mossad (I think Shin Bet would've been a better pick, but I guess they're not as famous) thing is played out. Wouldn't be all that upset to see her go. And considering she finally got an adage right... But you can't have McGee without Tony or vice versa, and you can't get rid of them both and keep the show.

Truly--next Gibbs and McGee are branded as traitors in the continuing story. I'm beginning to really dig the "Toothpick"!

Yeah, Vance is a damn sight better than Jenny.

Interesting. My money's on the guy from the episode before last, mini-Gibbs, being one of them.

I've finally caught up with this season......

Wow. Far better so far than the last two. I was really skeptical about the new director, but so far I'm digging him.

I watched the beginning of the NCIS "how it all began" marathon on USA on Sunday and WOW, man, the first two episodes ever were awesome (and explained a hell of a lot about DiNozo, McGee and Ducky's backgrounds). Very detailed, being in the Navy and (for the second episode) the way they pictured aircraft carriers and my rate, AWSO, is exactly it works. For never seeing the 1st season this show has, apparently, been very high quality from the get-go.

They get a lot of things right, but not all of them. It kills me every time Gibbs says, "We got a dead petty officer," and the scene opens on a dead guy wearing khakis. Sure, he could be a dead chief petty officer, but nobody who knew the difference would ever say that. And I love Abby, but damn, DoD does have a dress code, even for civilian employees.

My daughter and I still watch the show every week, but it's starting to get tired. It's suffering from the "Murder She Wrote" syndrome......You'd think Naval personnel were dropping like flies in the DC Metro area.

We thought last week's episode was exceptionally good! But I'm starting to get bored with the general trend. I prefer long story arcs over contained episodes. We haven't seen that in a while.

There are still some very good episodes, but like you, I prefer the long arcs.

I'd prefer the long arcs if they didn't end so shittily. Don't get me wrong; I was happy to see Jenny bite it. The resolution was still dumb. The whole Le Granoi thing a mess, too.

The Special Agent Cho thing might have been cool, but she snuck by Gibbs' gut. Lied right to him. Playing Palmer's one thing, but...

And the whole Mexican vacation thing... waste of time.

About the only exception was the rescue of Ziva, and she (and DiNoso) have been intolerable since.

Have a feeling something's coming out of Vance's closet pretty soon. Liked him at first, but nothing good can come of him giving Gibbs the constant stink eye.

I've had a similar suspicion but couldn't put my finger on it. Looks to me like we're heading towards a no-holds-barred confrontation between the two.

The season ending "P2P" serial killer arc was awesome, except for the "is that all?" ending.

I sure hope they bring EJ back.

My Gods I'm glad this show's back on (serious withdrawals)!!! Another excellent episode that, kind of built from almost nothing to almost mindblowing, CANNOT wait for next week. :P
