It was 181, but other than that, I agree.

Just watched Elektra again. Been probably since last time I posted. I liked it again. Just good fun.

When I was a kid, I collected Daredevil. I had every issue except 1 and 3, all the way up through the first Frank Miller run (158-191). The movie was a huge disappointment for me. When I heard the dvd had included deleted scenes that made the movie a little more coherent, I bought it, and was still disappointed. Honestly, the thing could have been cast a hell of a lot better, and plotted better. There's been talk of a reboot, and no doubt I'd go to see it, hoping they'll get it right.

I don't recall that the screenplay was written by Frank Miller; it certainly didn't rise to his level of expertise and it didn't "feel" like his writing.

If Marvel does reboot Daredevil, then they should beg Miller to write the screenplay. That would be a reboot worthy of being seen.

please no. no Kingpin, no ninjas, no Elektra.

and have you read Miller's All-Star batman? the man has gone over the edge.

the biggest problem i had with the movie was Affleck. I never believed him as DD.

I never heard that, either. I'm pretty sure Miller had nothing to do with it.
