I don't think I'm 100 pages into MoI yet. I've found I have to be in the mood to read Erikson. If I get distracted, I don't rush back to pick him up.

I'm still on Wise Man's Fear. Haven't had much of a chance to read it the last couple of weeks.

Yeah, HoC is surely with them as the best of it all, and vital to setting up the rest. But I don't see it getting easier for him to read it than DG and MoI. Even if he is enthralled by Karsa right off the bat, the rest of the world comes back.

Finished The Sword-Edged Blonde last night. I ended up liking it a lot, surprisingly. It started out as a private-eye-meets-fantasy novel, but ended up being a lot more fantasy by the end of it. Good stuff. I might have to look for more of his work.

On now to The Unincorporated Man. Stay tuned...

I'm just over halfway through Deadhouse Gates (and also can't believe so many people over here are talking about Erikson). Loving it, loving it, loving it .... and loving it some more. How did it take me so long to discover these books?
