Is there a way to "resize" images?

Post by Linna Heartbooger »

Don't suppose there's a way to "resize" oversized images within posts, like the old HTML thing?

<IMG SRC="www.blah.com/meh.jpg" WIDTH="300" HEIGHT="150">
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"

Yeah, no. You have to resize the image yourself before you upload it.

If someone does upload a huge picture, then it's kinda up to the forum mod to fix it, or not.

We don't have html tags enabled so that's why the resize thing doesn't work. Who the hell is in charge of this forum anyway? Why so outdated?

LOL, Vain! Actually, I personally feel more comfortable with straight text. (really and truly) Especially if I need to enter it in a terminal window or somethin'.

But I _guess_ I kinda find bold and italic and font size changes to be features instead of bugs some days.

Oddly enough, it looks like the topic preview when you mouseover a topic title does read html tags (on this topic, it tries to show the image from the first post).

That I am a nerd, and old-school at that. No more anybody needs to understand here. Sorry 'bout the headache.

Oh, if it's too big, they can just delete it...
