It’s easy to think
That the cool wind blows
Just for you
When you’re the only real person you know
That’s alive this time of night
It came ‘cause you wanted it
Needed it without knowing before
It had to
No other reason if not for you
When you’re enjoying the breeze
And it fades away
Your belief you brought it is so rooted
You must believe it left,
As much so as it came,
Just for you
Some hidden defect
Which you know of
But not exactly what
Made you unworthy
When you think of winds
Always after you believe
You can attract it and repel
Enjoy the breeze while it’s there
Because even though you’re good enough
To draw it near
You’re not enough
To make it stay
Ego of Wind

Ego of Wind
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

courage? heh, i think a willful ignorance is closer to the mark. as far as better... i doubt it. besides, poetry is entirely subjective. the only bad poem (unless you happen to be a Vogon) is the one nobody hears.
speaking of, as Foamfollower would say, "Joy is in the ears that hear."

Well, I know that Lord Mhoram and Lord Danlo know how to copy something from one website to another. So if one of them tells me how, maybe I'll bring over one of my Hangar poems. In the meantime, they are at pub40.ezboard.com/bahirashangar which is a great website in and of itself.
