The way I felt this morning, it may as well have been the end of the world.

Just after six tonight I walked around work doing a zombie impersonation and groaning BRRRAAAAIIINNNNSSS! My co-workers were quite amused by that as well as some customers. :P

Interestingly at 6pm (middle USA time - midnight in the UK) there came to pass a mighty blast from heaven and whilst it did not layeth low the mountaens of the earth and smite the unworthy from the face of the firmament it did blow down my neighbours new fence, which I consider to be at least in small part, the beginning of my own personal rapture! Prepare this morning for the attendant wailing, tearing of hair and gnashing of teeth......

(ps Sarge - I always maintain that when we insomniacs do get to sleep we sleep deeper than most others to compensate. You just proved it by sleeping through the end of the world  )

Thanks for the advice. Hamster does appear to be doing better today.

Are blueberries good for them anytime or just post-apocalypse?
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Anytime!

Squeekers, Treat, and Buu (He has been a serial hamster-owner...) have all relished blueberries as favored special foods supplementing their usual diets.

I'm of the opinion that the world did actually end, but much like t.v. shows about lawyers, a new one is always created instantly and it is exactly the same.

No, Sarge, you are part of one of these new-fangled "reality" shows that have little to do with actual reality, but which would have the illusion spoiled if the players were to be buff or talented.

Yes, me too...

Might be closer to the truth than you think Vraith. How other does the world of the past get to the world of the future if not by an infinite series of anhialations and recreations? (or did someone say that "in reality" the passage of time is an illusion and that the whole damn lot all exists together).

I am glad that the pesky end of the world, rapture business didn't cause me to miss Doctor Who last Saturday night. I would have hated to have had to kick someones ass.
