I don't usually think any particular actress looks good, but I do think that they look good in certain roles--more so better than in real life. Maybe it's the movie makeup? heh . . .
Anyway, my favorites:
Miranda Otto as Eowyn from the Lord of the Rings trilogy comes first to mind . . .
And then there's Uma Thurman who I liked in Gattaca. Oh yeah, and Naomi Watts in The Ring. And then Jennifer Jason Leigh in eXistenZ. And Jennifer Connelly looked her best (I think) in Requiem for a Dream. Oh yeah, and Carrie-Anne Moss in Momento. Sorry, once I start I can’t stop. One more, and I swear I’ll stop! Linda Fiorentino in a bunch of movies.
Ack, one more! Kirsten Dunst in Bring It On. And uh, uh, Scarlett Johansson in Ghost World. Damn it Foul, stop yourself!

Catherine Zeta-Jones. That was who I was trying to remember. I especially liked her in Entrapment. She and Michael Douglass have been annoying to me lately, but within the the context of a film she's great.Matrixman wrote:Catherine Zeta-Jones
Jennifer Connelly
Julie Delpy
(They look great in anything. Er, in any film, I mean...)

Happened to see part of Bad Boys on TV today, which reminded me... Tea Leoni.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
