The Killing Stroke. My favourite short story of his bar none. Would love a series set in that world...

(There's a thread in Gen SRD on the story, if you wanna give your thoughts...)

Would have to give it a re-read first, it's been a while. (As you can probably tell, given that I don't remember the name  )

Just finished the excellent The Inheritance and Other Stories, a collection of short fiction by Robin Hobb/Megan Lindholm. If you are a fan of the author, you should definitely give it a shot. :)

Check out the full review on the blog. . .

Forgive my ignorance, but who is the author? The only one I can find on the net is by Charles Williams. Is this the one? Says he was one of the Inklings along with Tolkien and Lewis.

Should finally wrap up ADWD this weekend, thanks to the hurricane canceling all of my other plans.... I've got a stack of dead-tree novels on the nightstand, so I'm all set in case the power goes out.

I'm listening to a borrowed copy of the Audio book, I only had an opportunity to get about 100 pages in reading. About the same point now, about 20% done listening.

Finished my re-read of A Storm of Swords. Great book, but so damn long... Can't help but feel it could have ended sooner, or the sections around the 2nd wedding could have had a bit less alternating between two characters to cover a few hours in one location.
