Mr. Reliable, bullshit-slinging liarFucker-user.[/spoiler] the difference between evidence and sources: whether they come from the horse's mouth or a horse's ass. "Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation." the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

Thanks for this reminder. I lost a friend a couple of years ago, a woman my age and whose kids were my kids friends (they still are on FB). She was famous in Vermont for these:
Janie Booth's Molasses Cookies
2 sticks butter or margarine (226 grams)
1 tsp. + 1 pinch salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup molasses
3 1/2 cups flouir
1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 Tbsp. connamon
1 tsp. ginger
scant 1/4 tsp. powdered cloves
1/4 cup water
Cream together the first five ingredients.
Sift dry ingredients together. Mix with butter mixture.
Add the water and mix well. Chill overnight.
Roll into 1" balls and roll in sugar.
Bake 350 12-14 minutes.
