The levitation bit I can sort of get my head around - but the 'locking' of that disk in space so it's position can be adjusted etc. and it's like fixed from above and below irrespective of it's orientation in respect of the magnets. Wow! Now thats a good trick.

Yes - the scematic (?) showed a sort of bunching of the waves inside the disk an a bending around on the outside. Like the thing was held in an invisible vice or something. Very clever and I can't wait to see what the practical apps of that might be in the future!
