I was a member of the Ohio State Men's Glee Club. On football Saturdays, we would get together to go 'tailgating' which started at the faculty club (for a few songs paid for with sandwiches), then out to the stadium where we were paid in beer for singing (a man named the BurgerMeister alwasy had a case set aside for us). We would sing, eat drink (me mostly diet coke...I was boring that way), and have a great time. Then we would head to the rotunda at the top of the Horse-shoe, sing the Alma Mater, and get inside to watch the game. Mostly it was about 16 guys, but sometimes as many as 35. The whole group was 90 and it was a great wall of sound which a year after I left went to Wales to win the Choir of the Year contest.

Hahaha, for one of my majors, I didn't attend a lecture for 18 months. Got assignments from a guy in my class, and studied from the textbook for exams.Cagliostro wrote:I guess skipping class in the first half of my college years was, come to think of it. There was one class that I had a friend in, and we had some sort of plan to skip and get notes from each other on certain days, but the problem ended up being that we'd forget the schedule and we'd both skip, and nobody had notes. I got a pretty bad grade in that class.
The only class I attended "religiously" at uni was my Philosophy lecture...didn't miss one ever.
