Peter, you might want to browse the Album section. While Sea always has attractive avatars (Mrs. Douglas, I miss you...), photos suggest that the actual person is quite as comely and far more real.

How do you get into such an exalted position without being called Mrs Donaldson or something like that! (By the way your avatars are always without exeption HOT, HOT HOT!) [Cure song title there just incase you didn't spot it  ].
I wrote him a letter about 25 years ago and then when he sent me a form letter back I wrote him another letter....and then another one...etc etc... It went from there. Check out the Elohimfest vids for his version of events. ;)

And glad you like my avatars. :) I went through a "assatar" stage way back...but that's a long story! ;)
this one Image remains my favorite...hubba hubba...

awwwhhh...no one's ever called me "comely" before. :) And, yes, it probably is time for some Mrs Douglas--probably suits my "self" at the moment more than the top busting Ms Spears! ;) Sorry rdhopeca :)

I thought you knew that. Don't you pay attention! ;) I only met him for the first time in 2008 [huggles Cyn]. Anyway, the lesson is: harassment can get you everywhere. ;)

For the record: I didn't ask to be a reader. He suggested it, I said he was nuts, but I ended up doing it anyway!

Now *that* would be worth seeing Sea! ;)

Peter, I'm surprised you didn't know Sea was a reader. I thought everyone knew, since she incessantly and nasally croons "I'm a reader and you're nnnooooootttt!" ;)

I can't find it, but that's not to mention the photo of the three readers (Sea, Romeo, and Jenn) taken at Seafest San Francisco posted somewhere here on the Watch.

(I fondly wish that one of the readers might, once this is all over with, write a nice piece about the doing of that work. Without giving away confidences, or embarrasing details, of course.)

 I remember talking with Romeo about it when the WFC was in Ohio. It is interesting stuff, and since then, I haven't really envied the readers.

I think it's funny everyone changes their mind about my avatar once they know it's Britany. I've always loved the pic because it doesn't look like her. :)

I'd love to know what Romeo said, Orlion. Did he mention how SRD makes us write out our notes for him in blood? ;)

To feed the Sunbane, no doubt. I always kinda saw him writing himself as Covenant, but now I'm starting to wonder if he is writing as Foul.

Second draft is done. The day is coming.
StephenRDonaldson.com wrote:"The Last Dark": the progress so far
  • I have now completed the first rewrite for "The Last Dark." At this stage, the text is 1026 pages (not counting "What Has Gone Before" and the Glossary). As usual, the next step is that my agent will read the book and decide whether it's good enough to show to my editors. Assuming it is (and I do assume that), I'll start on the second rewrite as soon as I hear from my editors--which won't be any sooner than a month from now.

This first rewrite took longer than I wanted it to. Nevertheless we're still on track for publication in the fall of 2013.

    7/5/12
By comparison, the second draft of AATE was ready in June.

Any idea what the book will be about? Maybe something with cat people in space?

What? No, no, it's about dog-people in the Underworld based on Wagner's Ring of Snifferwoof.

Looks like it is the shortest of all the Last Chronicles ;)

Should be getting ready for the Grand Re-read Project.
