Academy for Software Engineering

Post by Cybrweez »

A high school in NYC. I think its public, tho its limited. Its also is unscreened, they seem to be only interested in a kid's interest. The Joel blog is from Jan, so I don't know current progress. This fall is supposed to be the first class.

I follow that guy Joel's blog sometimes, good writer, and some great ideas. Good for them if he's involved.

I'm of same opinion. I've followed his blog for a few years. Av, I don't know what you do, are you in software?

Online marketing mostly. Search engine marketing, that sort of thing. Company does web design and development too, but it's not my field, other than project managing it when clients need sites etc.

Found his blog a few years back when I was writing something about development, and liked the way he wrote, so I check it every now and then to see what he's writing about.
