I've said it before, I've said it to SRD in person and I'll say it again. I think that Mordant's need is one of the best unsung series of all times. It's a bit slow on the start for a lot of people but the characters in it are so rich and deep and amazing that I think it's some of his finest writing.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

I'm really recommending these.
Had issues with the ROTE/FR readings (pacing and too much loud dramatization during unclimatic portions; this can get bothersome especially when the listener's a non-native and must at the same time follow SRD's sesquipedalian thesaurus worship), but such matters appeared entirely absent now. Brick did great work with all the characterizations, particularly Master Eremis.
So go and buy them.
Shoo.

So go and buy them.
