I'm looking at it on the forums. It's some sort of a plugin. I downloaded some poker software recently, it must have come in with that. I'll track it down now that I now what it is. Thanks guys!

[EDIT: got it! It was a browser bar called Yontoo that added itself onto Firefox. I made it invisible without removing it and it was only a few days later that the adware kicked in. Sneaky!]
Oh yea, that Yontoo is extremely annoying.
If you're downloading alot of stuff, you should run Anti-Adware right after the download, it'll clean it out before it becomes enough of a "Virus" for your Virus Blocker to catch. I use SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition, and keep all kinds of irritating cling-ons from poking their heads up

Have we been hacked! The 'Home' button on the menu bar is taking me to a strange Forex-related site. They also have an option called 'Immigration to Canada' Is this a Republican plot to exile all liberals no matter where they are to Canada?

Actually, it looks like a domain name that expired for its current user. Probably that's even exactly what happened. And if you're surprised about this forum's address still here then - kevinswatch on ihugny.com should be all fine separately, without the www.kevinswatch.com name tied to it.
I bet you're right, Effy. I heard from another member via Facebook that it looks like the domain name has expired. I'm checking with him to see if he's trying to join by going to www.kevinswatch.com or if he's using the ihugny address.

There probably isn't an answer for this, but does anyone have any idea why the Watch consistently generates 500 errors and server timeouts between 4:50-6:00 PM EST?

What I had heard -- and I have neither evidence nor citation for it -- is that it is due to early morning maintenance processes in the Asia-based data center hosting the service KW runs on.

That sounds plausible. With me it's between 22:30 and 23:00 GMT, which probably covers the same timeframe as Cail named above.

I know Av keeps an eye on this thread, so just to note that I tried to click the 'good post' aspect of a thread (for a wayfriend post. Who else! ) in the AATE forum and found that I couldn't.
