I scored as an Idealist:
Idealism centers around the belief that we are moving towards something greater. An odd mix of evolutionist and spiritualist, you see the divine within ourselves, waiting to emerge over time. Many religious traditions express how the divine spirit lost its identity, thus creating our world of turmoil, but in time it will find itself and all things will again become one.
Idealist 94%

Cultural Creative 88%

Postmodernist 56%

Romanticist 50%

Existentialist 44%

Materialist 19%

Fundamentalist 19%

Modernist 13%
The thing I find interesting about the result is how low on the Modernist scale I score. This may be related to science and rationality which I like to interrogate scientifically and rationally

I agree with Z, that lots of the questions were ambiguous. In many cases depending on the interpretation I could have either strongly agreed or strongly disagreed. In those cases I went for the middle.

I got Postmodernist. There was a tie breaker where they made me chose between "Everything should be subjected to analysis" and "Human life has a spiritual side."

I do not remember creating this thread.

I now score as a materialist - same percentage as in the first post (81%), but the modernist score has plummeted from 88% to 56%. The other scores have all dropped too. Materialism does fully represent my religious beliefs, but I'm still surprised.

I guess I answered less harshly about religion this time.

I just did the quiz and scored 'Cultural creative' From the blurb I think that means 'You don't have a consistant view on anything you creep - got the f*** out of here and stop wasting our time!'

Actually this would be the most appropriate answer in my case because I found myself either pulling the questions to pieces (ie Is there such a thing as truth? - Well yes, but more than one kind) or alternatively not being sure enough of the answer to the point where I just had to go for the middle option (as close to the 'don't know' option as I could get). This last happened in at least 50% of cases and quite possibly a good deal more.

I think in the light of my knowing my own answers to the quiz 'culturaly creative' must be the sort of 'holding pen' for people whose viewpoint does not stack up as a consistent thing in one direction or another. It essentially means you go where the wind blows and make up your own answers as you go along and actually I'm alright with that.

'Of course - you know you have.'
'Then let it end.'

Are you saying I'm indecisive? I am most certainly not! I am very decisive!

...or...

Let me get back to you on that.
