On good notes, got a lot of stuff done, Darth is officially mine. On bad notes, I ordered three minor things from amazon the other night. I had to reset my password and didn't realize that it also reset my one click function to my old address until yesterday when I got my shipping notification email. So I have three totally cool things I've paid for that I can't cancel that are being shipped to Chris's address. He's totally going to open them and keep them. I even went to the post office and asked if they could be stop shipped in any way. They tried but no. I'm all, seriously? if you can track a package why can't you stop the same package? and they said they just dont' have that function worked into the system. So Chris is getting my cool shit and I am out the money. And yes, I called Amazon and dealt with customer service for over an hour and there's nothing they can do either because all three items shipped from independent sellers. If it was their warehouse they could solve it. My only possible hope is intercepting the packages at the SF post office tomorrow. Gah... sucks.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....
Jenn, do you have a forwarding order on mail? Wouldn't that cause any packages to be either returned to the sender if they can't be forwarded, or forwarded to you before being delivered to a former address?
How do I feel today? Pretty good, considering I stepped on a scorpion last night. Yes, it hurt like a sonofagun, but only for a couple hours and then I fell asleep and today you'd hardly even know.
On a surreal note, the school gave out notices to teachers about security precautions. Attached was an article on dodging gunfire. MDACC: motion, distance, angles, concealment, cover. Now you know.

I am classified as "semi-urgent" and that is apparently the expected waiting time for semi urgent operations
Yesterday sucked, my pain levels started outrunning the medication. Started feeling faint and woozy after going to the movies with friends. On a positive note, I finally got a GP and have an appointment today. Will hopefully get some proper medication and maybe even some answers about my symptoms.

Mail forwarding only stays in effect for 90 days. It is up to the individual to have all important address changes made by then. Anyway, it is what it is. Sucks but oh well. Technically if he doesn't mark it return to sender and refuse delivery he's committing mail theft which is a federal offense. And he will have to sign for the ups delivery so there's the proof.

Sounds like the gallbladder to my unprofessional ear.
Sirens and gunshots up and down the street between 2 and 3 am. This after a string of armed break-ins in the neighborhood. The local cops are widely thought to be on the take in this one. Still, Stag, Fawn and I were able to go back to sleep. Which goes to show that you can get used to just about anything. That's not to say it doesn't take its toll, but it's when we get to the end of our resources that we really find out what our faith is in.

Just when I think I've started getting better at Twitter, I realise I've dropped back down to only a couple of actual followers (plus the small group of bots and other accounts that don't actually follow the people they follow). It's feeling like my blog did up until recently: Throwing stuff out there onto the net that no one ever actually sees or gives a damn about.
Lotsa sniffling going on, even with the cold medicines I'm taking.
