Elohimfest 4?
Had lunch with Bob Vardeman and his friend Randy and my friend KC we're all working together on an indy "steam-punk" movies (or, at least, on the very beginning of it) Bob and I are extremely psyched for Elohimfest 4, June '14. (by the way I am coming East, to scatter my Dad's ashes [he passed, pretty peacefully at 91 right after Christmas] and will be moving around the Connecticut, New York, New Jersey area if anyone wants to hook up)
fall far and well Pilots!

Very glad to hear you are psyched for Elohimfest 4, as you have been integral to the success of the prior three -- as I can attest from attending the awesome third one in 2011 and from all I have heard of the first two. You and Lady Tam are incredibly gracious to do all you do for the Watch community at these events!
So very much looking forward to this one...
Once again, sorry for the loss of your Dad. I'm sure you have a very appropriate spot in mind for his ashes, much like the place just outside the Golden Gate that I and my sister scattered our Mom's seven years ago. Peace be with him, and with you.

Don't worry, I've watched the series...so if we crash I'll know what's going on from the start.Orlion wrote:Well, since you are flying FROM Australia, I wouldn't associate myself with LOSTSeareach wrote:I'm coming...have to win lotto first (thinking of playing the LOST numbers ...but I'm coming. If SRD goes to this thing, can someone give him my epic re-visioning of the first trilogy, written through the point of view of the Blood Guard, who are secretly bitchy, popular, teen girls who make fun of everyone in their mindchat?
I'll have a final draft by tomorrow.

I still say you should alll come over to Loncon3 and have it there. If you all sign up you can nominate The Last Dark for a Hugo and make sure SRD attends.
More seriously, I just don't think I'm likely to travel all that distance for an Elohimfest. Hope you guys all enjoy it, though. You should still consider attending Worldcon over here, though.
