Who wrote a PM to Worm Of Despite?

Post by Lefdmae Deemalr Effaeldm »

I recently talked to Worm Of Despite (also known by some other names ;) ) - he asked me about a PM. He received one on the Watch, but he can't log in to read it or even see the author. I'm also curious.

So, I decided to just ask - please confess)

Effaeldm, first of all, you say that Worm of Despite is/was known by other names? Whom? I have a vague recollection that Worm claimed to be a metamorphised Lord Foul...but there is still a Foul about, though the current one claims to be a different one. So confusing!

Second, why can Worm not read his PM? While claiming to be cognizant of this PM, Worm cannot log in nor read it? Why?

Do I ask too many questions?
Focus on where you are going and why.

The first one passed the name, like a title. It's avery special name after all :)

I might have, but it would have been ages ago.

Funny how good he is at keeping his name current, even if he can't post here.

Yes it is, isn't it? And there is a phenomenon that I have yet to name (I may just do it now  I think I'll call it TOLFS*) whereby you getting a tingling suspicion that each new person who joins the Watch and immediately begins posting copiously is the old Lord Foul, and you fear that you have been TOLFed. There have been at least two (I'll name no names  ) that I have been watching. One raised hackles in the 'Tank and then disappeared and another posted so many new topics so quickly that you had to be suspicious (I still am  )*.

Like the ghost of Juan Valdez, a certain presence continues to haunt the Watch, long after he said he was gone 8O

*That Old Lord Foul Spirit (TOLFS) (after Douglas Adams', 'Old Janx Spirit'.). The theme tune could be, 'That Old Devil Called Foul'

It might have been me, sending a random message to someone whom I do not know just for kicks...

...but it wasn't. Now that I think about it, though, that sounds like a good idea so maybe I will. At some point.

Knowing full well he can't see it? You devil you.

And Squash Man, I've suspected TOLFS more than once, myself. 8)

The UMCP? Perhaps you shouldn't have given out any ideas like "no one will be allowed to breathe or think or shit his pants without Her Lordship’s authorization".
