Haha, none are, unless you're coming here. ;) Doesn't matter what dates you guys choose, it'll be the same amount of effort to arrange it for me. It's just the sooner I know, the sooner I can start making plans.

ditto, I need dates soon. we have to arrange logistics for all of this. I need six months ahead time to put it in for work. ditto with Julie. but we need more lead time for planning Cali.

Not to try to get everyone to change plans and cater to me but, i'm totally wanting everyone to change the plans and cater to me.

Come to Minnesota for this thing, and then I can go, and I will uh, bring Neil Gaiman, assuming he still hangs out at Dream Haven, pretending to be a clerk.

Yeah unfortunately I had health issues in the family that prevented my last visit. Don't want to miss this one if I can avoid it!!

Sounds like fun, though I'm not sure just where it would be? Did I miss something in another forum?

P.S. I just started a new contract in the SFO area. I know several Watchers used to live around there. Maybe we could do a mini-meetup at some point?

Official fests, which usually include dinner and a discussion session with SRD (if danlo can arrange it), are held in Albuquerque. Gathering place is danlo's and Lady Tam's.

We really need some dates here people. We will be taking a drive to California after the Fest. I am lining up activities.

George - we really want to head up and see your part of the land, but looks like it will have to be a separate trip sometime after the great Western Road Trip. We do play the lottery now and again in hopes of quitting our jobs and driving across the US. :)

OK, I usually invite him by email, but this is the most important E-fest, so maybe I'll defer to Romeo, this time. I haven't seen him around since the last E-fest, as he refuses to attend Bubinicon until TLD is released, but I did hear one of his office neighbors whine about his cigar smoke.

and I miss you guys, having the date circled on the calendar will make bad days at work better. as will the almond milk white Russians I have just discovered.

Almond milk White Russians?

Interesting. Will try this next time Menolly makes almond milk...but this tends to be just a Pesach thing. In the meantime, will add a jot of amaretto to a White Russian just to approximate what you are describing.

Since the time frame was close, that's almost correct. I make the almond milk as a coffee whitener when I am not allowed dairy during the low-iodine diet prior to testing. So I am hoping it will be only a once-every-three-years thing...

The almond milk is tasty on its own, though. Would be happy to make more at any time.

I just sent the query to Steve. I'll let you know when I hear back.

Ohhh no. We straightened that out with him quite awhile back. SRD is not allowed to die... Oh, wait. I think that was only until TLD was done. Crap.

Well, okay, new rule: He can't die 'til he's come to E-fest 4 and signed all our books.

There! Sorted!

Ahem. I, for one, request that we not countenance any such release at least until such time as we find out where Ginny and Mick's story goes!
