Just found The Mistborn Trilogy in a box for 3 bucks at a library sale/fundraiser. Pretty good so far [though only about 20 pages in].

the difference between evidence and sources: whether they come from the horse's mouth or a horse's ass.
"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

Decided to switch gears after all. A friend dropped me off two 'analog' books. I had been re-reading the I-Robot series by Asimov and a friend of mine just finished these two and dropped them off. I figure I will go ahead and read
The Naked Sun, The Robots of Dawn
and then go back to my e-books again. That will save me the cost of buying them.

I read Caves of Steel a couple of months ago (along with I-robot). The same guy I got the other books from. As he finishes them he is routing them to me to read. When someone 'loans' me a book a try to get it read and back to them quickly for two reasons. First so I dont forget I have it or who I got it from, and second and most importantly so that they will keep loaning me books.Avatar wrote:I love those, but you're missing one or two...hang on...
Order is:
The Caves of Steel
The Naked Sun
The Robots of Dawn
Robots and Empire
Last one wasn't very good, but the first ones were great. They're really detective stories.
