Good question. And btw, anybody know why we were down?
SD wrote:Agreed on Facebook. I see ali there a lot more than here. Pity...especially here in GenDisc, where she was the most active of the three mods.
 I suck. Again. I'm sorry, guys.

I'm in several writers' groups there, and the super-secret Indies Unlimited staff lounge is there (it's kind of like the Watch's mod forum that DOESN'T EXIST, NO MATTER WHAT YOU MAY HAVE HEARD). By the time I clear out all my new-post notifications, I've got 6 more to look at. It really is addictive....

I wonder, could the watch ever merge with and become a part of something else entirely? I would hate for it all to just vanish one day.

Riddle me this, poet: are some who are never seen here any longer, still to be found there?

Since there's no such place
Once cannot find MIA
Watchers hiding there

Furls and Matrixman
Loremaster, the first Lord Foul
Mhoram and Seareach

Sadly, we expect
None of them to return here
But you never know...

We were down due to an issue with the domain registrar. Nothing serious. I got hold hold of Vain and he sorted it out.

Backup forum here guys: kevinswatch.fr.yuku.com/

As for all the other questions, I don't know and probably not. :D

I don't think anything on the internet truly vanishes. Some form of KW will endure in perpetuity. Even the parts that don't exist. Perhaps especially those parts.

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing

With all due respect I really think it's time to let that go. I have put up many many posts that have gotten no response. It happens. Life happens. People get busy. People are often not interested in what I have to say. Whatever the reason, I know it is not a reflection on me.
*shrug* Maybe. But there was a question as to where people are and so forth, and this is one of my reasons to remain mostly quiet these days. I find "talking to myself" extremely irritating, and it's not something I can change.
I'm back. Promise to reply thoughtfully to everything :)

I think I maybe changed the username a few months back but can't remember what to.

...Wait a sec. I remember now - I changed it for that Lovecraftian game Effaeldm tried to start. (Checks the forum.) Guruthnaka! Okay, problem solved.

It's where people have more than one identity on the Watch e.g. Dread Poet Jethro, Plains of Ra. We had a good discussion about it last year.

Crawls to the corresponding forum... I hope to do something with that yet - a pity only two people decided to play and one of them didn't appear online for quite a while... You're the only potential player left apparently. I'll try to do something, perhaps advertize it around, maybe change the rules in some way... A pity to see something like that, particularly with how some people apparently miss GT activity.
A role-player, beware
