Hope this is ok. I was encouraged to submit my daughter's art site Arwen Art to this forum in case someone would like to view it. She does fantasy art, and my avatar is her work as well. The full size version is on the site Bannor of the Bloodguard.

"At one time."
"What happened to her?"
"She has been dead."
"How long ago did she die?"
"Two thousand years."

btw offcenter is it possible 2 construct an artpage here like J did @ the old forum?

fall far and well Pilots!
Actually, I believe the art page at www.kevinswatch.com is still functional
I noticed that in the background - really good drawing. Would be nice to see it in colour (nudge nudge wink wink)

Arwen Art
Thanks to all of you for the kind words! My daughter, Arwen (that's her real name) was happy with the comments. And thanks to Offcenter for increasing the range. It did help the detail a little, and I think Arwen will color the picture as well. Again, thanks for the remarks. I really like this forum.

Birthday
I can't believe that I forgot to thank all of you for the birthday wishes! 50 is a nice round age, and I have attained the age...still working on the "round"!

No need for greater vocabulary
Actually, I think your compliment was quite excellent! Arwen and I say, "Thank you, Covenant Jr.!"

Yes. Very nice work. Self taught? Call me crazy, but I see a lot of bohemian influence.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Thanks, Mhoram. I was amazed that one of my original posts was still around. I'll tell my daughter your compliment. I'm enclosing a new drawing. Knowing my predilection for Watership Down and Lord of the Rings, she drew a combination bunny/Gandalf and called it Bundalf! (Some of you may have seen this previously.)

She's very talented! I was once considered a "great artiest" in my elementary school days. Unfortunate, though, that I still drew like a 4th grader in middle school and high school!
You must ask her to do one of Lord Foul!
Oh, or maybe an extreme close-up of Foul's face to the point where you can only see those venomous eyes.
Or Tyrion Lannister! That'd be a nice challenge!
