If you want to check U, the best way is to just use an incognito window. That's the closest that can be gotten to an "average" result.

Sorus, do you search logged into a Google account? If so, set that account to not track etc. as well.

Also, if you visit a cat supply site for example, that site might follow you round with ads, until you clear your browser cookies. :D

Using Chrome, with everything cleared out and in incognito mode, and not signed in to google account, the Watch was 4th listed on second page when I searched Stephen R. Donaldson.

Not logged in anywhere, and I clear my cookies after every session. I do visit the SPCA's website fairly often, so ads for 'adopt a shelter pet!' make sense. The other ad I get all the time is for a self-cleaning litterbox, which will be one of the first things to turn on humans after the inevitable robot uprising. Either that or my cats would figure out a way to weaponize the darn thing. Nope, sticking with the old-fashioned kind.

It does seem like we're moving up - we were on the third page the last time I checked.

Thanks for the info, guys! The Watch is coming up at the bottom of the first page for me when I go incognito, which inclines me to think that there is a bit of google-tweaking going on. Still, hopefully the stuff we're doing is helping us up the search rankings and we'll get more people finding their way here!

[Double post]

If we want to break 4000 posts this month we're going to need to push a bit. Heck, even of we don't it's going to be a bumper month in any case!

You have been outstanding since you're return, Morning! It looks like you really caught the Watch bug this time

Those of us who attended the Elohimfest in Albuquerque this summer had a great time, and one of the things we talked about was the slow decline of the forum. We decided that the best way to halt and reverse it was to up the level of our own activity and to encourage others to join. So it's great when someone like yourself comes along and really gets stuck in

Thanks, I guess. I don't take commercial flights out of paranoia, so I will never, in all likelihood, meet 90% of the Watchers. I may bum into Av since I have business in SA or Ani ( ) while trekking toward the great white north, but that's about it unless some of you decide to wade into the euro floodlands. Which is an open invitation

I'll keep that in mind, Morning. I fully intend to get back to Europe one of these days. I've already been to Spain, but never to Portugal.

I think folks tried to organize a Euro Fest at one point years ago, but nothing ever came of it. There have been documented instances of individual Watchers getting together, though. The (wholly arbitrary and capricious) rule of thumb is that it's an Efest if at least three Watchers are present.

You might even get some US Watchers to show up for that. :)

Yes, living is overrated by those who never actually had to measure their own survival skills. I think this fine lovely gauntlet is yours. I found it lying across yon stone slabs...
