aTOMiC's New Job

Post by aTOMiC »

Hello everyone.

I'm excited about this so forgive my enthusiasm.

Every so often its nice to share something positive like this with the Watch.

I've been working as a CADD Technician in the Land Surveying business for a very long time. Thanks to the real estate bubble burst I had to seek work in other businesses these last few years to make ends meet.

Out of the blue the other day a good friend of mine, who is a registered professional Land Surveyor working for the City of Tampa port authority, called me and said that he gave my name to the head Land Surveyor for the City of Tampa in general because he heard they needed to fill a position of CADD Technician.

Well I got the job and I start tomorrow morning.

I can't tell you all how I feel. I've always had the utmost respect for the City of Tampa Surveying department and the opportunity to actually work for my hometown's government is nothing short of a dream come true.

Just felt like sharing.

:D
