Well, I have no explanation, I just know that the Watch loads significantly slower for me than other sites.

Maybe it's cause you are posting at a different time of day than many of us, due to the difference in time zone.

I honestly don't think it is.
If it were me, other sites would load equally slowly, neh? But that isn't the case. I feel like I'm watching the grass grow waiting for a page to load here. That's not the case on the many other sites I visit.

Tomorrow I hope to be meeting some Star Trek, Star Wars, and Doctor Who actors at the con I'm attending in my town. And more. We'll see who I can get to see.

It is! I met the one actor from the original Star Trek (Uhura), one actor from The Next Generation (Deanna Troi), one actor from Star Trek III (Saavik), and two actors from Star Wars (Lando Calrissian and Chewy). Also Dorium from Doctor Who. And most importantly, the Eighth Doctor. 8)
