I had a piece furniture delivered today from a local hospice shop. The bloke asked me come downstairs to pick it up. At £10 delivery charge, almost the same price as the item itself, I told the bloke to use the lift/elevator. You can tell by his tone of voice he weren't pleased.
A little thing maybe, but sure put's me off using their shop again.
Some people, eh!

I am so sorry to hear about Sonny, Sarge.

- ...Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart that's filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.
But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
God also loves our canine friends,
He's installed a 'doggy-door"!

They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."

we could not do it.
friday came and we were all set. and i stopped it. he seems still lucid. i have to carry him a great deal. he sleeps all day.
but i could not do it.
selfish i know, but i keep thinking he will just pass in the night.
julie is taking care of her mom this week in houston. so i am alone with Sonny for a week and weekend.
and maybe in better news. I am applying for a laundry sergeants job at my unit. better hours. noon-8pm. mon-fri. every 3rd month i work weekends. i reall hope to get this job.
and thank you for everyone's well wishes and prayers. i delayed the inevitable. but i feel less guilt than putting him down early.

Good luck with the job, Sarge. As to the other, I know it's one of the most difficult things a person can do, and if he isn't suffering you may as well enjoy what time you have left together. It's never enough time.
I can't find one that suits my mood. This is the one I use on my WoW guild's forum.Avatar wrote:You need a new pic.
